Laser Resurfacing

In the last 2 weeks, have you...

  1. had direct sun exposure, applied self-tanners, or used a tanning bed?

  2. taken any medications that cause photo-sensitivity? (i.e. antibiotics)

  3. had cosmetic injections in the treatment area? (i.e. Botox)

  4. used a prescription strength topical treatment in the area?

  5. tweezed, waxed, or threaded the hair in the area of treatment?

Laser Hair Removal

Do you have...

  1. active or healing Herpes 1 or 2?

  2. an autoimmune disorder?

  3. keloid scarring?

  4. seizures or chronic migraines?

  5. on lotion with glitter?

  6. metal plates in the area of treatment?

  7. skin cancer (suspected or diagnosed)?

Scar Revision

In the last year, have you...

  1. had chemotherapy or radiation?

  2. taken Accutane?

Are you...

  1. pregnant or breastfeeding?

Laser hair reduction

  1. No heat, steam, sweat, hot tubs, or saunas for 24-48 hours.

  2. Mild sunburn sensation may last 2-72 hours.

  3. IMPORTANT! SPF 30 or higher, absolutely no direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.

  4. Cooling gel, 1% cortisone cream, or ice if needed.

  5. Hair will shed, can shave if needed. No tweezing or waxing during your treatments.

  6. Appearance of hair growth or stubble will be evident 7-30 days after treatment.

  7. Bathe & shower as usual, no excessive scrubbing in area of treatment.

  8. Follow up treatments occur within 2-12 week intervals based on area.

  9. While LHR is permanent, hormonal fluctuations can trigger new hair growth. If this

  10. occurs, a maintenance package can be purchased.

IPL, Pigmented lesions or acne

  1. No heat, steam, sweat, hot tubs, or saunas for 24-48 hours.

  2. IMPORTANT! SPF 30 or higher, absolutely no direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.

  3. Cooling gel, 1% cortisone cream, or ice if needed.

  4. “Peppering” may occur, do not pick!

  5. Cleanse with cool water & a gentle cleanser for 24 hours.

  6. Do not exfoliate for 7 days.

Laser facial rejuvenation

  1. No heat, steam, sweat, hot tubs, or saunas for 24-48 hours.

  2. Mild sunburn sensation may last a few hours.

  3. IMPORTANT! SPF 30 or higher, absolutely no direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.

  4. Cooling gel, 1% cortisone cream, or ice if needed.

Vascular Lesions

  1. IMPORTANT! SPF 30 or higher, absolutely no direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.

  2. Cooling gel, 1% cortisone cream, or ice if needed.

  3. If legs, avoid exercise first 3 days & wear compression stockings if needed.
